Hi! I’m Kandyce, a Bowling Green State University alumna with a B.A. in Media Production. I’m passionate about live, in-the-moment production, including news, sports, and events where adaptability and creativity matter most.

 

During college, I directed a newscast, created video and audio promos, produced short films, and worked as a production assistant at WBGU-PBS. After graduating, I expanded my skills through photography and videography, focusing on being versatile behind the camera.

 

Since graduating, I’ve continued to experiment with different styles of photography and videography. I believe it’s important to know how to capture just about anything—you never know what situation you’ll be in, and being prepared makes all the difference. Learning multiple perspectives behind the camera also helps me be more intentional and thoughtful in my own creative work.

 

I’ve gained hands-on sports production experience as a video production intern with the Florence Y’alls, and I currently work at WLWT News 5, where I continue to learn across departments and grow within the industry.
